WORSHIP
Oh sing to the Lord a new song,
for he has done marvelous things!
His right hand and his holy arm
have worked salvation for him.
2 The Lord has made known his salvation;
he has revealed his righteousness in the sight of the nations.
- Psalm 98:1-2
What Worship Is
We were created to be people who worship. Our culture worships marriage, work, money, pleasure, and success. But none of those areas are satisfying to us, because we were made to worship God. God is not just our leader--He is awe-inspiring, mysterious, and worthy of our praise. God’s nature inspires us to wonder at His holiness, and to stand in awe of His goodness.
How We Do Worship
The primary way that we worship as a church is during our Sunday gatherings. In the Bible, we see the early church coming together, singing songs, and hearing an encouraging message from scripture. We model our services on that example.
